Our golf special

The golf course at Bad Salzdetfurth / Hildesheim is only 14km away from the hotel-restaurant Kniep on the B 243 leading to Hildesheim. Behind the ' Buente ' the way to the centrally located clubhouse leads between the courses 12 and 13. It is attached to a Driving Ranch, a Pitchinggreen, Fairway, green shelters and large Puttinggreen. These are also ideal places for exercising.

The golf course was built in two stages. The courses 1-10 (without course 6) from 1972 to 1977, the courses 6 and 11-18 from 1995 to 1997. While the first 9 courses were built into the high-lying oak forest, tee-offs and greens could be built on soil in the second stage of construction. Almost all courses have either upward or downward gradients, partly also slanting levels. Some of them have dips and water ditches. The challenge as to the golf course is therefore appreciated differently by players of different abilities. On 7 courses ditches and biotopes require strategic playing if any risk is to be avoided.
